Laud Agyekum Donkor

Laud Agyekum Donkor is a PhD candidate in Economic Policy and Political Economy at University College London (UCL), where he explores how political and economic decisions shape development outcomes. He holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Banking and Finance) from the University of Ghana.

Laud’s work focuses on issues of inequality, poverty reduction, and international development, combining academic depth with hands-on experience at institutions like Development Bank Ghana, Kids Club Kampala, and FA Business Support Services. His expertise includes economic research, policy briefs, grant writing, and impact assessment, with strong technical skills in STATA, RStudio, and data visualization tools.

In addition to his research, Laud is a writer who uses storytelling to translate complex economic issues into accessible insights. Through his blog and thought leadership, he reflects on African development, economic transformation, and governance.
