Giving with Compassion, Restoring Dignity

empowerHER is a year-round initiative dedicated to protecting vulnerable children and women by providing counselling, guidance, and safe spaces alongside essential resources such as food, clothing, hygiene products, and healthcare items. Through collective generosity and targeted support, empowerHER uplifts those facing hardship and helps build stronger, safer communities.

The program is structured around three core projects that work together to protect, empower, and support:

  • Kids Clubs: Safe and engaging spaces where children participate in educational and recreational activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development within a nurturing environment.

  • Girls Support Groups: These groups offer vital support through group discussions, counselling, and mentorship programs. They also provide education on menstrual hygiene to break barriers to school attendance and personal well-being. The groups foster confidence, resilience, and leadership among young girls.

  • Hope’s Table: A giving initiative focused on meeting urgent needs by mobilizing resources to provide food, hygiene products, clothing, and healthcare items to vulnerable individuals and communities.

Each year, empowerHER highlights a focused giving campaign addressing urgent challenges. In 2025, the initiative is dedicated to supporting the women of Nsawam Women’s Prison. These women face food insecurity, limited healthcare, and lack access to essential hygiene and clothing. Through empowerHER, they will receive nutritious meals, tailored hygiene kits, durable clothing, and medical supplies, bringing dignity, health, and hope behind the prison walls.

More than a program, empowerHER is a movement of compassion and action. It unites donors, volunteers, and partners to protect children, empower girls, and support women in difficult circumstances. Together, we create lasting change and brighter futures.
